This is part 1 of the 4-part series "The Middle East and Your Future."

Who are the Jews and the Arabs, and why the centuries-old conflict between them? Will there ever be peace in the troubled Middle East? The Bible says that there will be no end to the conflict—until it is resolved by God.

Promises made by God to Abraham and to his descendants—the Jews—are the key to understanding the Middle East. The Jews' turbulent history was foretold long ago by Moses and other prophets. In fact, thc destiny of Israel and her Arab neighbors is the subject of most Bible prophecy.

The situation we see today is part of what Bible prophets called the "last days." The climax of today's conflicts will be an intervention by God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Only then will there be genuine peace. This momentous event will affect every man, woman and child on the earth!
