Ok. This idea is very old. Accenting still life product shots with a flashlight is not new. What is new is lighting the shot entirely with hand-held flashlights that output daylight balanced and regulated illumination. The most recent variants now sport the ability to change the beam angle from a spot to a wide spread. This is a game changing paradigm as the illuminations kit of the studio photographer has just been expanded to involve self-powered, hand-held and daylight illumination for Main, Fill or Accent lighting - albeit, with limitations. This experimental demo proves that it's now possible to produce both soft/wide effects as well the spot effects in one take with multiple flashlights at the same time.
