Set on the remote Crozet Islands, half way between Africa & the Antarctic, this clip shows Macaroni Penguins trying to leap ashore on the rocky coastline. As they do so, they are pounded relentlessly by turbulent seas and slip back down the rock face into the water below. But it's summer and they have to get ashore to breed. Features underwater footage of Macaroni Penguins and Black-Bkowed Albatross in flight.
