Commissioned by Danspace and Co-presented by CPR, TETW is a complete sensory experience. Movements, sound, and visuals are interconnected within a choreographic enclosure to reassess the perceptive scales of what is internal and external. It includes 5 dancers and 2 live musicians. The dramaturgy evokes the relativity of our experience with matter in relation to energy and inertia. The choreography draws on Chinese energetics and Ba Gua (martial art). This is the beginning of the piece introducing 3 dancers, embodying 3 of the 8 forces of the Yi Ching: 1-water, 2-wind, 3-thunder. This introduction leads to a section where all the cast arrives in a unison.
