One of the distinctive qualities of the Christ-follower is his generosity. One is never more like Jesus than when he is giving. In this series of messages, Pastor Chris explores the truth that God has called His people to be generous people that live sacrificial lives to the glory of God. He has committed great things to His people and works through them to redeem people to Himself. Generosity is both a means to experiencing grace and the byproduct of a proper understanding of grace.
Today, Pastor Chris explains how God’s calling on the life of the Christian to being a GENEROUS person actually functions as a guardian of sorts against greed and the resulting sin of covetousness. Learning to live “content” before God and in thankful humility for His provision is one of the key factors for peace in our lives.
