This video documents interactions with great hammerhead sharks off Bimini island in the Bahamas. These large sharks are rare, and are seldom seen in the wild. They congregate around for a couple of months around Bimini. Bait is used to attract the sharks, so other species such as nurse and bull sharks were observed. This video was filmed using a go pro attached to the top of my camera housing. I am primarily a photographer, so when the sharks came in close, I raised my camera to look through the lens, and this raised the go pro such that the sharks were no longer in frame. Anyway, this is a pretty good example of what you can expect on a dive with these beautiful animals. Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoy.
