This series is directed primarily at young peoples, ages 17-25. This stage of life is very formative and is a time of decision making, including important choices related to education, vocation, relationships, and lifestyles. Young people need to know that life does not just happen and that choices made today will impact who they are becoming tomorrow. This series of lessons speaks to this reality and presents warnings from the Proverbs about choices, activities, and beliefs that can bring ruin to life.
This lesson is the first in a twelve-sermon series. This lesson provides a discussion about what makes a successful life and counters the prevailing wisdom in society, "If it feels good, do it."
