A short test video I put together from footage shot using the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, with a vintage M42 Chinon 200mm prime lens. A series of adaptors were used to attach this lens, firstly the MFT to EF adaptor that my university supplied with the camera, and then the EF to M42 ring that I own so I could use my vintage manual lenses. I chose to use my manual lenses over the Canon L EF lenses that I had with me because there was no quick way of changing aperture on the pocket camera, I had to take the lenses off and change aperture with them on my 600D, and then put the lens back on the pocket camera, for run and gun shooting this was no fun.
I have mixed opinions on this little camera, sure it produces some lovely images, but it is just very awkward to use without added accessories, and then the point of it being pocket sized is taken away.

For the people that want the technical details, I shot this at 24fps, used the film dynamic range, film picture style and recorded to ProRes 422. Edited it all in Premiere Pro CC and colour graded using basic tools within premiere.
