In 1987, Sid was helping me to try and get a record deal. He asked me to be on his show in early December of 1987. This was originally recorded off the TV live by my friend Bill Bernstein (no relation to Sid) and onto a VHS cassette which I have kept all these years.
I have tried to clean up some of the sound quality and some of the titles as the tape was pretty rough looking and sounding. But I have kept the show in its entirety, including all the commercials, in order to preserve the feel of the '80s, and what basic cable in NYC looked like at the time. Also, because I love watching the commercials, both pre-recorded and done live by Sid. None of those companies exist any more.
The backing track for "Killer on the Loose" is something that my friend Rick Rivera and I put together in our little studio. Other than that, my vocals and guitar were performed live as you see them on both songs.
I am also posting shorter clips of each song, and my specific interview.
"Killer on the Loose,"
"Guy Fawkes Day in New York," and
