Two Fontys Schools (the School of Fine and Performing Arts and the School of Information and Communication Technology) have joined forces to present the themes that are currently occupying the minds of their students. Art, performance and technology have been ingeniously combined in a way that reveals a perspective on the undreamed-of possibilities available today. The Fontys Factory invites you to take to the CADwalk, and seek out the spotlights. Show yourself off and soak up the applause. However, while on this journey of revelation, make sure you lose nothing of your data or your identity. It is up to you to decide at what point your personal performance is being achieved at the expense of your privacy. En passant, the Fontys Factory reveals the astonishing capabilities of modern, interdisciplinary forms of education. Students and lecturing staff from widely divergent disciplines such as design, ICT and theatre have joined forces in a cross-media production that is more than the sum of its parts. Together, they demonstrate that technical capabilities can give rise to ethical debate. Step onto the CADwalk and judge for yourself. Is it a good walk or a bad walk?
