Collison mesh: VDB Source Volume (much faster than rigid body)
Main sim: > 50million particles
WW sim: < 1 million particles
Simulation time: 17 hours 250 frames with 4 substeps (1000steps)
Render: 3DS Max - VRay 3.0
Render time: 5 - 20min per frame including rendertime Frost meshing.
I used Zhu/Brison for the Frost meshing as the Anistropic method was just to slow for this test. Although the Anistopic mesh created much nicer small details!
