Two of my friends from the year in Australia came over to visit Norway. I wanted to show them the things that I love about my country, and took them around for an action packed week.
First we went cross country skiing at mount Ulriken in Bergen, bringing camping equipment and spending two days up there. After some sightseeing in Bergen, we drove eastwards to Lillehammer for some nordic skiing and some snowboarding. We had a night in Hemsedal on the way back, but it became a freezing experience in tent in -25 degrees celcius. We found some nice ice to climb in Lærdal on the way back to Bergen, before finishing the week with a toboggan run at mount Fløyen.
I think that the visitors were a bit tired after a busy week, but that the whole winter thing was a new experience to them.
