Venezianischer Maskenball, Hamburg, 01.03.2014.
Venetian Masked Ball in Hamburg.
Historical dances performed by Alta Danza, Hamburg.
Most of the scenes were recorded at "less than low light" (nearly "no light"...) with my brightest lens, the SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 35mm T0.95 (@ T0.95) and Anamorphot 1.33x 50 on Sony A7R. As this lens was designed to cover APS-C sensor format, you get quite strong vignetting when using it on a full frame camera. But here, the Anamorphot comes into the game. It squeezes the picture horizontally by 1.33x, giving you a larger field of view. After stretching in postprocessing by 1.33x, you can crop the resulting 21:9 wide screen format back to 16:9 and get a picture with significantly reduced vignetting. The remaining vignette could have been corrected in postprocessing but I decided to keep it "as is" as it supports the historic atmosphere of the scenery.
