Western Australia's advertising industry's night of nights became a Revolution on Friday 7th March when 780 guests attended the annual Oasis Ball and Campaign Brief Awards at Crown Perth.
The evening was hosted by Channel Nine's Sally Ayhan and Y&R Brands CEO Russel Howcroft, who kept guests under control with spectacular entertainment all night long that included a military takeover, mo-town band, dancers, DJs and a major media auction with over $400,000 worth of media packages donated.
Since 1996, the Oasis Ball has raised more than $2 million for the Salvation Army's Crossroads West. This is a special programme run by the Salvos for young people whose home lives have been severely disrupted by their parents' or guardians' alcohol and drug addiction, physical abuse or abandonment.
