Final words matter. We are meant to lean in close when people are nearing the end, because everything else is stripped away, and what really matters stands central.
That's why as a church family, we are going to take the six weeks before Easter to focus on the six hours of Jesus on the cross. For it is during these crucial moments that we hear seven final words that really speak volumes of our God and His heart for us.
