Following on from the success of Delia Derbyshire Day 2013, DD Day 2014 is an event that honours the fascinating work and archive of Delia Derbyshire (1937-2001), the pioneering electronic music composer who worked for the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and is most famous for realising the original Dr Who theme in 1963.
DD Day 2014 will be taking place on Saturday 12 April 2014 at the Anthony Burgess Foundation in Manchester, UK.
DD Day 2014 touring events will then take place in Hebden Bridge (Thurs 17 April), London (Sat 19 April), Bristol (Sat 26 April) & Norwich (Wed 4 June).
