This is the first half (external restriction prohibit me from uploading the second half at this time) of one of my 'Moments in Sport' series of films where I plan to follow individuals with a passion and commitment for a sporting activity. These people don't always compete for the money, they do it for the thrill and excitement of the challenge.
This story follows cyclist Keith Elgar on a day of preparation and training one early morning. Keith has competed in many cycling events around the UK and into Europe. He even manages to find time to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support and other charities through some interesting and slightly odd cycling ventures as noted at justgiving.com/Keith-Elgar
Filmed using a Panasonic GH3 with Sony and Canon lenses with a manual aperture controlled adapter and ND Fader. Audio was recorded directly into the GH3 using a Rode VideoMicPro. There might even be a few Panasonic TZ30 shots in the mix which actually grade with some nice colour!
Edited in FCPX 10.1 with grading in Davinci Resolve 10.1
