Thekra (Memory): Focuses on the memory of space in the mind of the born blind. Rawan Barakat and Hana Hamdan talk about their most powerful memories where images of space are engraved in their minds, they share with us the way they “SEE” the past.

Thekra & Ward videos are part of a video installation that was exhibited at Jordan University in summer 2006 as part of the Visual Arts graduation showcase. The videos are a result of 6 months research and field work with blind children and adults in the city of Amman.
The project aimed at exploring the way born blind people experience colour, material and space.
