Jesus began to weep.
Why did Jesus weep? He wept because he hurt for his friends who suffered when the world beat them down. He wept because he was angry and frustrated over people's inability to believe. He wept for Lazarus, that he would be bringing him back from the dead just to die again, knowing that he should be raised to the resurrection to eternal life. And he wept for himself, because he knew he would be leaving God's wonderful world, and he did no want to.
