After trying his hand at many different things, this son of a blacksmith found the one thing he loves doing; crafting wood and metal to make beautiful and unique pieces of furniture.
Devin first started building furniture to combat the spatial confinements that plague Chicago’s apartments. After building himself a wall-mounted shelf that was big enough to hold odds & ends and small enough to not interrupt foot traffic, he decided to dive deeper into his roots of being a craftsman.
When he’s not working on custom pieces, he’s repairing mid-century furniture and doing custom builds for businesses in Chicago that influence and challenge his skills. And though he uses technology to build his pieces, he doesn't rely on it. With passion and a mindset like that, there’s no question that his pieces contain a little more than wood and metal— they contain the soul of a craftsman.
