FINALLY. This video brought to you by (and dedicated to) my good buddy Jim G. At long last, after years of cajoling and convincing, extolling the virtues of the offroad motorcycle, offers of large sums of money to buy a KTM, and then a BMW, a free fluoro jacket, a GoPro for Christmas, and on and on and on... I found just the bloke to help me pick up the beast of a bike after my inevitable crashes and went directly into the California bush. David and I got kitted up and rode northwest from Pasadena into the San Gabriels, up Little Tajunga Canyon road, in search of some forest roads to bump along. Finding our planned entrance closed, we consulted with some locals who happened to be resting nearby and received intelligence on the Rowher Flats off road recreation area. We followed them to the entrance a few miles down the road, made our way up the squirrely gravel track to the dirt, and proceeded to have heaps and heaps of fun. I had the camera mounted to the windscreen of the BMW, so it's a bit bumpy. Thanks again to Jim, for the gifts of inspiration and fancy kit, and to David for getting me out there (and back up on the bike when I repeatedly fell from the saddle).
