After my quadcopter was delivered I charged the batteries and updated the firmware, by the time I drove to an isolated place to calibrate the compass the sun was already down, so the day after during lunchtime I took my drone to a nice place to try it out. There was barely any wind, so I did some close to the ground and at altitude. It flew so nicely that I felt safe having it fly over water and even flew to the limits of the stock Wi-Fi range, about 450 meters. It was really sunny and that made it very hard to use the phone for FPV. Not bad for my first time, if I may say so.
The videos were processed with Defishr and stabilized with Mercalli which introduced some artefacts. vIbrance and local contrast were boosted and colours were heavily tweaked.
The soundtrack is a track called "The Complex" by Kevin MacLeod and can be found at: incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?isrc=USUAN1300025
