Atlanta maker Lynn Pollard transitions from fiber art to paper dyeing.
KPKinteractive presents MAKE, stories about people making things, launching with a brief video story about the process behind the fascinating work of paper dyeing artist Lynn Pollard of Atlanta. Through our work with various artists and with the American Craft Council, we have a fascination with unique art and craft and specifically with each maker's or artisan's process. After an introduction to Pollard’s mystical paintings, that are most reminiscent of Japanese paper dyeing, we asked for a behind-the-scenes look at her process. We hope you will enjoy what we found as much as we did.
