Rai is the Italian Public Service Channels targeting a wide audience suffered from a lack of image and a poor distinction within his biggest competitor. We worked on a clearer expression of their specificities, programming and positioning.
This rebrand has also been an opportunity to repackage all Channels ID with same concept and style as part of a bigger family network of 13 channels on air on DDT.
Since all RAI Ident have the same shaped logo only different numbers and coulours, we proposed to illustrate the offside dimension of the channels following the aim and personality of each channel with a 3D design.
We use this new space not only for promos but also consistently throughout many other elements to display titles, information, messages to the audience, AD Bumpers, etc..
