Space Garden is a project centered on interactivity and creative reuse. Inspired by aesthetic parallels between organic and mechanical, the work is comprised of “Space Plants,” sculptures made of recycled material and electronic components designed to resemble botanical and biological forms.
Space Garden currently exists as an interactive installation at Port Discovery Children’s Museum in Baltimore, MD. The installation is comprised of a mural that contains soft circuits, musical elements, and textured panels. Mobiles made primarily from recycled material and found objects hang from the ceiling and can be viewed from the first and second floor.
