This lecture is part of the Friday Art talks series which take place in the Main Lecture Theatre, ECA Main Building.
In this lecture Neil Clements talks about his installations, other works and the inspiration behind these.
Neil Clements is an artist based in Glasgow. His practice is concerned with the way in which ideas of artistic agency have evolved in relation to broader technological and societal developments. A specific focus of his work is the way in which abstract art, commonly regarded as inward looking, hermetic discipline, can be demonstrated to be a porous to other kinds of cultural production.
