Whilst teaching a Poetry in Water workshop in Greece, this particular session took place as part of an exercise and as I was observing the session, the quality of stillness felt so powerful that at some point I jumped out of the pool, took my canon 5d on its tripod and jumped back in with it and started slow dancing behind the lens and into stillness with them. I hope you can see what I see...
The session also shows the influence that biodynamic craniosacral therapy has had on developing my work on a subtle therapeutic level. Both Stamatis and Sophia (practitioner and client on the video) are graduates of the British School of Aquatic Bodywork's foundation training which follows the Poetry in Water approach. A core concept of our approach is the focus on listening to the other and allowing movement to unfold naturally.
I invite you to turn up the volume, sit back, and slow way down...
