The Dig Collective is a group of physical theatre artists interested in devised processes. The collective formed in 2011 over a shared desire to explore non-linear and highly physical story telling. As we develop as an ensemble, we revel in the potential of our individual, physical bodies.
We make work that is live -alive- not because we’re not rich enough to make film, but because theatre offers a real-time experience and connection with the audience. We make theatre that savours being physically in the room with the audience and we delight in the absurd, wild and darkest of humours.
