'Lady J' was conceived and designed by Ed Monk, the celebrated US nautical engineer and built by Taiwan's top shipwrights like her renowned sisters the Grand Banks.
Chun Hwa yachts have been built to the highest standards of workmanship and quality materials. Burmese teak abounds throughout, as well as bronze and top marine stainless steel. Less bulky than the Grand Banks, which are also US design yachts built in Taiwan to similar standards, her flared bow and well balanced lines give her less of the 'trawler-type' look and more of the timeless charm and elegance of a super yacht.
Beside her amazing sea-keeping qualities 'Lady J' is perfect for lazy weekends in your favorite bay or entertaining in style. Her walk-around decks are safe for the whole family, her large cockpit is fully covered and will provide you with a lovely, well protected area, and a large swim platform adds again another dimension to this already generously sized yacht.
Up a lovely teak ladder is the flybridge, where all the controls are relayed from the inside helm and the visibility all around the boat optimum. This area is equipped with a solid roof and full all-around clears for warmth and protection in all weather. The clears can also be removed. This area is perfect for entertaining with large stainless steel BBQ, enough space for a table for 6 people and plenty more room to spare.
The galley is U shape and appointed as a true luxury yacht galley should be, with full size fridge and separate freezer, electric stove top, twin SS sinks and microwave. All interior furniture, cabinetry and trimmings are of solid teak. The replacement price of this yacht would be astronomical. The fit-out was handcrafted and finished in oil rather than varnish to minimize maintenance time and costs.
The yachts cabin sole is of varnished teak in perfect condition, protected by a removable carpet in traffic areas.
Access to the engine room is a breeze. Easily lifted traps in the cabin floor all through the center of the boat provide you with light and ease of access. The engine room is spotlessly clean, as are the two Volvo 125HP turbo diesels and generators, which have always been maintained to the highest standards and are simple and easy to service as all parts are accessible.
As most US designed boats 'Lady J' has two staterooms, the master cabin occupying over a third of the boat and appointed with comfort and luxury in mind. The large queen size island bed is fitted with an inner spring mattress, which was custom-made for the owner. There is ample storage in dedicated lockers and hanging lockers.
An ensuite is accessed directly from this room and boast a shower and bath tub, a vanity with small sink and electric toilet.
The second cabin is furnished with comfortable bunk beds, with a double bed on the lower level and a single at the top. The room also has plenty of storage lockers and a mirror.
To starboard along the hallway is the second bathroom, which also has a shower and electric toilet.
Should you need additional sleeping the saloon table lowers to make another double bed, and the settee would suit a small adult or child.
