Movements on Tenzing-Hillary Airport, Lukla, Nepal.
It's an airstrip situated just south of Everest National Park, at an altitude of 9,380 ft / 2,860 m. During the mornings, it's a very busy place; Aircraft and helicopters come and go all the time, bringing people and supplies. Beyond this point, only Yaks, people and helicopters can carry supplies.
The field is particularly popular with flightsimulator and aviation enthusiasts because of it's challenging approach to the short (527m) and inclined (12%) runway. It is used mostly by people going for the Everest basecamp trek, a very popular and crowded route.
The video is recorded with the Casio EX-F1 in 720p mode, and edited with Apple Final Cut.
