In this webinar convened by ASERL, Will Cross, Director of the Copyright and Digital Scholarship Copyright and Digital Scholarship Center at NCSU Libraries introduces the requirements and scope of federal mandates for public access to research findings. He also discusses strategies for leveraging library resources to help scholars understand and comply with those mandates so that they do not risk losing their funding. Will also describes the next generation of mandates that are currently being developed and the ways that early support now can position your library to be a leader in open access and an important resource for faculty scholars.
