In this third installment of my video series, I'm sharing the story of my time at NTTR with a dear friend and fellow veteran, Jerry Fields. We served together in the 4477th, and it didn't take long for Jerry and me to forge a strong friendship, bonded over our shared times in the gym. While I had my routine, Jerry was the marathon runner, always pushing his limits in cardiovascular fitness.
Jerry's tenure at TTR spanned about a decade, making him one of the longest-serving individuals at the site. His interview holds a special place in this series. As we reminisced about our fellow veterans who are no longer with us, the conversation took an emotional turn. It was challenging to navigate through those memories, but it gave a voice to the families and friends of those we've lost – a tribute to their sacrifices.
Jerry's story is a crucial chapter in the history of the Red Eagles. His insights shed light on the personal sacrifices, both mental and physical, that come with working in such a highly classified and demanding environment. This interview offers more than just statistics; it provides a personal perspective on the cost of serving our country, highlighting the lives and stories behind the numbers.
This video is a tribute to those who served, a reminder of the human aspect of military service, and an honor to the memories of our fallen comrades. Jerry's narrative is a poignant reminder of the bravery and resilience of those who have served our nation.
