Mistaken For Strangers premiered last year as the Opening Night film at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival. Our cameras were there in the 48 hours leading up to Tom Berninger’s biggest day. This 10-minute short chronicles the Berninger brothers’ big day (which included a performance from The National. Through the lead up you can see the brotherly love, nervousness, pride, and fear of the big day that made Tom Berningers story one of the authentic and heart-touching hits of the 2013 Festival.

The National's comedic documentary Mistaken for Strangers will be in theaters and out via iTunes on March 28. Directed by Tom Berninger, the younger brother of National frontman Matt Berninger, it follows the Berninger brothers on the National's tour in support of High Violet.
