"We are the generation! We can make a difference!" These are the words of young men and women who are undertaking training through the Methodist Church of Zimbabwe, in partnership with the Uniting Church in Australia, to take their faith and the leadership skills to their peers and beyond them, to their nation. Zimbabwe experiences many challenges, including 95% official unemployment, a generation of children living alone or with relatives thanks the HIV/AIDS epidemic and a life expectancy still only nudging 54. Two our of every three people is under the age of 24: young people have never been so eager to take their place as leaders.
