A RiverWoods Way of Handling Winter

the great thing about winter at RiverWoods is that you can can leave the snow removal to us and focus on doing more of the things you love to do. For one group of RiverWoods residents, that means an annual ski trip to Sunday River with Justine Vogel, RiverWoods President and CEO.

As you'll see in Justine's blog and video below, this group knows how to make the most of all this snow!

From Justine...

I generally love my job. I work with great people (residents and staff), it is fun and interesting.
I have done it for a while and there have been many super days, but a recent Tuesday was special. My favorite work day of the year. I spent three hours skiing at Sunday River with 6 of our residents (age range 75-88). Great skiers, great ladies, great fun. I loved that our RiverWoodsers were shredding the slopes, I loved being with them and hearing about their kids and grandkids and fun vacations, but what I loved the most was how they were crushing stereotypes with every turn. Some people think at 83 you need a rocking chair. I don't think so - all they need are some powder skis and blue sky. Bring on the snow!
