Phillip Hall-Patch is a British contemporary artist and architect currently living and working in Brighton, England.
He was born in Tabriz, Iran in 1971 to a Persian mother and English father, repatriating to England in 1979 days before the revolution.
He graduated from the diploma in architecture from The Bartlett (UCL) in 1997, and worked for a number of high profile, design led and award-winning practices.
Studio St Vitus was created in 2010 after winning the commission for a public art-installation for Lincolnshire County Council (organised and run by 'artsNK'). "Salt Licks" is to be completed on the Lincolnshire coastline facing the north sea in 2014 – a two storey canvas of salt bricks designed to weather away under the sun, rain and wind-blown sand - a corollary of the eroding coastline.
Lightbulb is a weekly series of short films by Stephenson / Bishop, talking to designers, craftspeople and artists about their processes, their inspirations and their workplaces.
