Brian L. Frank is a San Francisco native, who studied photojournalism at SFSU.
His Mexico work has recently been recognized by Photographer of the Year International, The National Press Photographer's Association, Photo District News, and The San Francisco Bay Area Press Photographers Association.
He is an Eddie Adams Workshop alumni who placed second overall in the Hearst Photojournalism Championship for 2009, as well as winning for Best Single Image.
He is a frequent contributor to the Wall Street Journal, The San Francisco Chronicle, and his works has appeared in Esquire, Newsweek, PDN, the Dallas Morning News, The Global Post, as well as published wire services including Getty and the Associated Press.
