The following is an edited version of the interview between Allen Lambert, LCSW, and Douglas Braun-Harvey, MFT, CGP, CST, conducted for The Voice – the newsletter of the Austin Group Psychotherapy Society. This is the first videoconference interview conducted for The Voice. The interview took place on 01/08/2014.
Douglas Braun-Harvey, MFT, CGP, CST, is a sexual health author, trainer and psychotherapist who bridges sexual and mental health and facilitates organizational change. In 2013 he co-founded The Harvey Institute: improving health care outcomes through the integration of sexual health. For over twenty years he has been developing and implementing a sexual health based treatment approach for men with out-of-control sexual behavior (OCSB). He teaches and trains nationally and internationally.
Allen Lambert, LCSW, is a group psychotherapist in private practice in Austin, Texas, and former Board Member of the Austin Group Psychotherapy Society. He leads several psychotherapy groups, including a gay men's modern analytic psychotherapy group, and is an active member of the Austin Group Psychotherapy Society.
