“Art as Coincidence” is a story about the artist Marianne Lynsø, who started her career after a long “family break”. After high school she started to study Art History but quit to become a typographer. However, she always had ambitions to be an artist. Because of her family (she raised three boys), she made the decision for a secure financial situation, but now, in the age of 51, she is trying to push herself towards a life in and for the art although her family is not into art at all. She managed to become a member of the Danish Artist Union, which she was trying fort years and is currently searching for a gallery to represent her.
