For everyone else, I’m a singer/songwriter from upstate New York, living in Venice, CA, via London. I love making music, and finding new and innovative ways to get that music out into the world. In 2006, I created my Virtual Summer Tour, and was the first musician to build a global following on YouTube. I won the first YouTube Award for Best Music Video, and was invited by Al Gore to play Live Earth at Wembley Stadium. That was awesome.

In 2007, I signed a record and publishing deal with Universal/Island Records, and moved to London to release my first album, ‘Under The Influence.’ I toured the UK, opening for artists like The Fray and Martha Wainwright, and played some incredibly cool festivals, like V Festival, Latitude Festival and Hyde Park Calling. It was a good time.

Over the last few years, I’ve played shows in places like Europe, United Kingdom, South Africa, India and Russia. I also played the first Western music concert in Kashmir. Touring and playing music for people around the world is my favorite thing to do, so I consider myself to be very fortunate.

In an effort to inspire support for the downtown Las Vegas community, CatalystCreativ is excited to announce its enactment of Catalyst Week, a dynamic event series with Zappos founder Tony Hsieh and the Downtown Project. Held every fourth week of the month for 12 months, these engagements will explore strategic partnerships in philanthropy, wellness, music, fashion, education, and technology. Experts from each industry will immerse themselves in the downtown Las Vegas culture as part of this series, exclusively curated by CatalystCreativ. Attendees will be housed at The Ogden, a high-end apartment complex in the heart of Las Vegas, and work remotely from this site each week. Each attendee will also be invited to participate in a Zappos tour, a downtown tour, and become a part of the community, attending dinners hosted by Vegas leaders and spending time at locally-produced events. Additionally, attendees will be asked to give a filmed TED-style talk where they connect with an audience of social influencers and organizers.
