Dance Anywhere 2014: Treasure Island Edition

I had my own blissful freestyle dance in front of the Bliss Dance sculpture this year for Dance Anywhere 2014. I've always loved this still unknown gem in the middle of Treasure Island for its magnificent artistry, craft, elegance, and graceful presence.

I chose this track, "Im Ninalou", as the musician Cheb i Sabbah is very near and dear to my heart. I've listened and danced to his music ever since I was in high school and have followed him throughout the years. Sadly, he passed away last year after a long battle with cancer. It's hard to express how much he is missed but I'm very grateful for the times that I got to lose myself in his live sets and am even more grateful that I was able to thank him in person for all he did. This piece is dedicated to his memory and work.
