The resurrection of a cultural icon, the robot Maria from Frltz Lang's silent classic film, Metropolis (1927). This official 2014 replica of the original costume was a six year project by Kropserkel.com, overseen and sanctioned by the family of the original creator, Walter Schulze-Mittendorff. Faithfully recreated in loving detail, the symbolism and foresight of the robot design being the perfect hybrid of man and machine was prophetic.
