Here is some footage we shot for a larger project, but I kinda thought it was nice enough to have on its own. It was for some recreation footage we were capturing on a man by the name of Eugene Roberts who founded a community hike up this mountain, among other things, in the earlier 1920's. We shot this footage while waiting for the ground crew to get into place. It was a 6 hour hike for them.
Ron Chapple was my DP and Spike Kinghorn my pilot. This was shot using the Cineflex V-14 heligimbal over Mt. Timpanogos in Utah from a Bell 206, altitude about 12,000ft. The music is probably a little cheesy but had a little drive and a bit of an epic feel to it which was nice. So, enjoy.
