Story:
The strong-willed development aid worker Karla Friemann comes to Afghanistan in order to build a water supply well. The villagers only accept her with restraint and the construction site is consistently sabotaged by strangers.
The only person who could have the key to the causer is the Afghan girl Rona, but she remains silent.
Only when Karla finds out who is in charge of the attacks she realizes that her western notion of what is good for people is evaluated completely diverse in a different culture and that helping others does not only have positive aspects.
