The Norwegian public transit company Ruter want more Norwegians to travel with them instead of using their car. To convince car owners that commuting often is just as good as driving, we set out to prove that pizza could be delivered within the one hour guarantee using only public transportation.
The experiment was conducted over a weekend in March with three participating pizza places located in Ruter's operating area and was a big success! We proved that public transportation in Oslo is often a great alternative to driving: 79% of our orders arrived within an hour of being placed! The ones who didn't make it were only a few minutes over the mark.
