MICHAEL DUDECK is an artist and cultural engineer, whose works involve de-coding and re-coding dominant cultural mythologies into contemporary fictions. He utilizes a range of media tactics including live and mediated ritual performance, authoritative publications, the development of fictive personae/institutions, museological construction/installation and writing/publishing fictive theoretical texts. He has performed, exhibited, lectured and published internationally, and is currently artist in residence at The Institute for Art, Religion and Social Justice at Union Theological Seminary (New York), and Freeman Space (Brooklyn).
