This hoody fleece went to Afghanistan on the 2014 Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon Military Appreciation Tour with the Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon combat patch above the heart. All the other patches (and Marine jump wings) were gifts from the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen in Afghanistan, including some of our Coalition Forces. Patches were sewn on by master tailor Enzo Preta, the Official Tailor of Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon. Thanks Enzo!
The Military Appreciation Tour was comprised of eight Washington Redskins Cheerleaders; America's Elvis, Captain Woody; and three volunteers from Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon: Alan Krutchkoff, President; Allan Virginia, Treasurer; and Tamber Norton, Veterans Liaison. Special thanks to USFOR-A and Marc Bierman, its Director of Civilian Entertainment for AFG; Armed Forces Entertainment; Col (R) Ralph Romine and all the military and civilians in AFG who watched over us and helped make this tour a "Trip of a Lifetime!" Additional thanks to DHL Express, Microsoft Xbox, TRX, Unilever Military Sales, Unilever Corporate, Ten Gun Design, Leatherback, John Lahoud and Lahoud Sadaka Group, The Independence Fund, Just Born, Inc.; Motion Boards; Coffee Associates; OritaniBank Charitable Foundation and all the folks who helped make this trip a success!
