Portsmouth native, Jenel Fabien, who currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, has released a video for her song entitled “Enough“.
Jenel says the song is for anyone who has ever felt less than enough, suffered from low self-esteem or felt unloved for any reason.
“Many young people today are struggling with issues such as discrimination, abuse, neglect, bullying and peer pressure which damage their self-image and self-worth,” she writes in a release sent to Dominica News Online. She explains that the song “Enough” was written, “to remind you that you are WORTHY and you are always ENOUGH, no matter who you are as long as you love yourself.”
The song was written and arranged by Jenel herself and recorded on an IMC beat by Christon Azille. The video was shot in Dominica and New York. Jenel’s attire in the video contains slogans depicting messages such as “You are awesome and you only live once” and “Boss” which she says “affirms that you are in charge of your destiny, choices and changes.”
