I am Matera (director Roberto Di Marzio, recorded in Matera in Dec. 2013) is an independent video created by mottasquiem to support Matera as candidate city to European Capital of Culture 2019. The video allows the viewer to get into the daily life of the town and enjoy the features of the places and the people of Matera. The three blue lines following the protagonist of the video represent the elements that made unique the town of Matera: the territory, the people who lived in the town and their capability to adapt, the time that in Matera is measured in thousand years.
