I wanted to try out a puppet controlled by Arduino. Instead of using Arduino IDE, I chose to code the servos moving the puppet with Scratch for Arduino (S4A, s4a.cat/). So this ended up being a small commercial for S4A. The cool thing about this choice was the possibility to easily create action and animation on the screen - and make the puppet and the graphical elements interact.
The process involved modifying the source code of S4A in order to be able to control several servos. The instructions by Arduteka:
Google Translator ftw!
- five 180 degree servos
- Arduino UNO (arduino.cc/)
- power LED
- plush zebra stolen from a 2-year-old.
